Anyone have any experience with Traditons muzzle loaders? I have seen some pretty good prices at Bass Pro and thought thier Buck Stalker model looked fairly intersting. I have been thinking about getting into Muzzy shooting. I don't want an inaccurate piece of crap, but can't by the top of the line either. I was thinking that if the Traditions models were fairly accurate, the money I save, could go towards a nice scope for it.

    What do you all say?:dunno:

I have an older traditions that I converted to the 209 primers, took it out today, sighted it in with 6 shots...A good rifle, paid less then $100 for it...A lot of bad story's out there about CVA and Traditions but most of them boil down to overcharging or inexperience...Traditions or Knight, you really wont go wrong...

I read some where about the barrels being from Spain and that they were being over preasured.

zack, no matter what route you go, i highly suggest getting something that uses shotgun primers and doesnt use the "bolt" method of operation... the alternative to either will just cause headaches.
