106 F in McCutchanville.
Might have notched a degree or two higher at some point, but this is what car thermometer registered during lunch hour.

Well, when I headed out to Home Depot to pick up another 5 gallon bucket of driveway sealer my car told me it was 103 degrees.
Yes, I resurfaced my 2900 square foot drive today, knowing that it would be hot (which makes me either a real man or real stupid). In any event, I'm REAL tired. I drank copious amounts of liquid and should be ok. Took Just over 8 5 gallon buckets to seal that damn drive ... cost me more than this guy offered to do it for ... but I'm thinking I used better stuff and did a better job. Next day off I get will be spent on the couch.

102.9 in the shade, under the sofit of my house.
106.4 at the burd feeder in yard in partial sun/shade.

...and one inside... 72*F

Strangely, our 31 year old central A/C is still cycling.

It showed 108 on the thermometer on my bike on the ride home at 4 p.m., county line to 37 to 144 to the outskirts of Mooresville. Damn that ride sucked!

They are calling 105° Friday 107° Saturday 103° Sunday 100° Monday.
Looks like a hot weekend here.
So don't feel bad we have it hot here as well.
