Really? You do realize that these guys are Caucasians, not Arabs, right?

You are spot on with "terrorist," but that's not exactly an ethnicity or race.

I'll help you only once more with your misunderstanding. You are confusing the region's name from which they originated with being Caucasian. They are not. They are a bastardization that does not fit any specific ethnicity or race. This thread was intended to highlight the left's desperate need for these 2 to be American, "white" males. Born here. Raised here. True domestic terrorists.

    They're not.

9 posts. You're not off to a good start but there's time to salvage your stay here. I suggest you start now.

Well, thank you for the warm welcome. Where's the buffet? :)

As much as I'm sure the far left was hoping for them to be Timothy McVeigh replicas, I'm sure there was no shortage of far righties praying that they were muslims. I didn't wish for either, I simply wanted to know who did it.

But the lefties were the only ones on the news Monday-Thursday hoping it was a certain group.:dunno:

Many on INGO are extremists in defense of the second amendment. Your insult is noted. :noway:

As I did not single anyone out as an extremist on this board, there was no insult intended. I simply find extremism to be disgusting. I doubt that you are actually what would be considered an "extremist," although it may be fashionable for you to think yourself so. Defense of the 2nd amendment is not extremism. I don't see why you would think that it is.

That depends largely on the definition of liberty. One man's liberty can quickly interfere with another man's rights.

Extremists of any stripe are disgusting.

That's a bit categorical. For example:

I would be extremely interested in protecting my family against home invasion, or my wife against rape. Seems reasonable that my extremism against crime trumps the criminals modest interest in victimizing my loved ones?

But maybe you do have a point, my family's liberty from crime might infringe on the criminal's right to victimize them. I guess you're right, how insensitive of me!

My right to swing my fist ends at the tip of your nose. That's the kind of thing I'm talking about. And once again, where is the extremism in protecting one's family against criminal attack? Shooting a man who is attempting to invade your home or rape your wife seems entirely reasonable to me. Be careful what you consider to be extremism.

I think the point of the OP was calling out scum in the media for immediately blaming a certain type of person for this attack without any evidence whatsoever. They tried the Tea Party, or "gun nuts," or any other demographic or group that they enjoy demonizing. Examples would include Obama's drunken boyfriend Chris Matthews and fatboy Michael Moore. I have no interest in debating the "whiteness" of Chechens.

I've been called an extremist many, many times simply because I believe the 2nd Amendment means what it says.

"...shall not be infringed" doesn't mean "...may in fact be infringed in whatever way the government decides is reasonable."

"...the people" doesn't mean "only those people who are of acceptable moral character as determined by the government" and it doesn't mean "citizens only."

"...arms" doesn't mean "only those arms that don't shoot too fast, aren't too small, aren't too big, aren't too powerful, aren't too inexpensive, are made with a minimum number of American-made parts, and are primarily suited to sporting purposes."

I don't care what 9 political appointees in robes have to say about it, especially since they only GOT appointed because of their political views.

Exactly. I recall that NPR prematurely declared the attack the handiwork of 'right-wing extremists'. At minimum, no one else did anything to discourage this conclusion.

Just heard a segment on NPR and the person said that all the videos and pictures used had been faked and the govermentbwas behind it.
It could not have been the brothers bla bla bla.
only thing they left out was white right wing extremest and the teaparty. Otherwise they covered it, all!
