    Ya it worked great, all I had to do was shoot a little wd40 in the carrier to get it indexing again. He said it had sit for like 20 years, and the primers were winchester and in the old white box and nickle looking.

    If properly stored and not contaminated, those primers should be ok. If they were mine, I'd use them for plinking and target loads just to be on the safe side. I'd buy fresh primers if loading for self-defense. Probably not necessary, but it would make me feel better.
