Finity, if you aren't a Union member, what is your single most important issue that determines your vote? I'm not saying you are a single issue voter. I'm just trying to figure out what is more important to you than 2A. Without 2A, the rest are subject to the whim of those in power. Why do I still have 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10A? Because my ability to exercise the 2nd puts the fear of God into those who would like to abuse the others. Why do you think our founders gave it to us? Just for the record, I didn't vote for McCain. I voted Barr. I voted for Bush twice as the lesser of 2 evils. I don't believe that McCain is any better than Obama. In fact, I have more respect for people like Ted Kennedy than McCain. At least Ted Kennedy doesn't lie about who and what he is, a liberal. McCain did more to undermine Bush than any democrat could have hoped to. Alot of people said we needed McCain because of supreme court nominations. Gang of 14, anyone? Besides, Bush couldn't get some of his nominees in with a republican house and senate, what makes you think McCain could have gotten a conservative seated with a 59 democrat seat senate, assuming he would nominate a conservative in the first place? McCain makes Bush look like Reagan.
