Oh well'. Now that photographic evidence has been found, this proves it. Romney is a sadistic animal.

Do you really need to ask?

    Their saviour.

Everyone who wants to tell you want to do is a bully, unless he is a Libertarian. Then when the Libertarians tells you what to do, like mandatory insurance, it is for your own good.

This would be an acceptable apology:

"Yes, I did that. It was wrong, I was wrong, and I am sorry that I did it."

Shoot, if I can teach my 3 year old to apologize in this manner I would sure hope that a grown man could pull it off.

I still don't see how he owes you an apology, even if he did it. Let's assume it happened and he reconciled with the alleged victim a year or two later, how's he owe you jack ****? Why are you prying into this personal matter between two individuals? Who are you to insist on an apology? What harm did you suffer? The supposed victim's family doesn't want his life pried into, but you're barging in. It's indecent.

    Welcome to politics.

So, a 50 year old allegation about a high school incident, without ever a complainant, is exactly the same as a recent allegation of perjury in a civil case and of suborning perjury by a sitting President? Are you serious?

The Washington Post made-up story - the family says it didn't happen, the "victim" is conveninently dead from (liver cancer?), the "witness" admits he wasn't actually there, and the remaining contributors are far-left goons.

Credibility problem? I'm getting Dan Rather national guard document fraud visions in my head here. And NBC 911 call "edits" ... Hey wait - it's an election year!

C'mon libtards, is this the best you got?

Meanwhile we have Obama in his book talking about bullying little girls... Hey, the Washington Post socialists are the ones who brought childhood into it...

Which is better to have in your mouth - a silver spoon or a golden retriever?

LOL - it can't be this easy!

The number of years isn't relevant. Romney is still breathing, and still running for president. His adult decisions are being vetted. Americans want to know what kind of decisions he is capable of and what kind of character he has. He's obviously more than just the fake plastic smile and the rehearsed answers.

Maybe Romney's victim(s) deserve more privacy than Monica Lewinsky. But lets not act like the "indecency" of the vetting process is something new. He wants the job, better get used to having the media up his ass.

    Romney's apology

"I had no idea that this person might have been gay. And as the article points out, I participated in a lot of hijinks and pranks during high school, and some may have gone too far, and for that I apologize."

Proof that you either didn't read the article, or simply read selectively.
Romney admits the act occurred. It's the motive being questioned.
Romney's act occurred as an adult, I'm unsure of Obama's age when he pushed the girl.

Just sorting the facts? It's good to know you're keeping an open mind about who you'll be voting for president:laugh:

I guess I will point it out again... there were 5 witnesses.... One of them claims he was not in the room, but saw Romney gathering people to do it, and then saw the result...

That is not "proof that it did not happen"... It is his recollection of what happened from his perspective, which corroborates with the other FOUR people that tell the same story from a different perspective - at least one of which claiming that they were one of the boys that held him down. To my knowledge, not a single person has come out claiming that they were present yielding any information that suggests the incident did not occur - but five people that claim they were present claim that it did, with accounts from different perspectives that do not contradict one another.

Romney's own reaction to the story is damning in itself. Romney did not even deny it happened - but people are determined to believe that it did not? To believe that it was a conspiracy based on the presumed political leanings of the witnesses (ie: accomplices) - and also believe that Romney would apologize and not deny the event when nothing happened - does not seem very reasonable.

Unless someone has something else I have not seen, this story has not been "proven" false - it has simply had political supporters attempting to poke holes in it as best they can, with little success. Then again, maybe they were successful to some degree - because people that don't want to believe it happened reference their efforts as "proof".

Should it matter in the big picture? Not at all...

Did it likely happen? From what information we have, it sure seems that way...

There was no way I was voting for Romney before this story. There is no way I'm voting for him after it. Is anybody's vote going to be changed by it?
