    It depends who you ask... But the "True Region" is anything North of U.S. 30 in Lake County. Some people say that it includes the whole 219 area code, but I don't think it does. As to why people tend to dislike people from the region I think it is because of our attitude or cockiness, and the differences in lifestyle compared to most other parts of the state.
