Posts have gotten better, after the second smackdown. I don't think he even noticed the first one. It's still a clear run, well more like a power walk now. Random posts all over the place just for the sake of numbers. The only difference is they are longer now.

Pretty sure we'll see him in the classified section in a couple hours.

Not sure. There's nothing good on TV right now so I've been bored and watching. I haven't seen him look at any WTS things yet. He's all over the map but so far not in the classifieds. I'm sure that will change in [STRIKE]7[/STRIKE] 6 more posts. I'm predicting he's selling something instead of buying.

I believe you are mistaken with that statement sir.
When you post on INGO, you are posting to the membership. The membership who have every right to comment on the content of said posts, hence why this is a discussion forum.

Spear Dane, how a member conducts himself on INGO is important information. If you were a buyer or seller on the classifieds I assume you would want to know whether you were dealing with a member whose reputation onsite was vetted, was important to him and that it was likely he would stand behind any deal he made. Since we often only know each other electronically a run on the classifieds does give some information about character. How they behave after their first 'lesson' perhaps even more. Finally I believe it is more than just CM's concern (unless you mean to imply something beyond your statement) as he is not the only mod nor is he solely concerned with policing the classifieds. It is the concern of any and all mods, and since they can't be everywhere on site this thread is a clearing house to call attention to this type of behavior, much as we might call a mod's attention to any other site rules violation. And site supporter is so inexpensive, the fact that they are too cheap (which we must conclude since it seems they are too miserly to actually contribute, either) to support the site they are using like a rented power tool tells us something, too.

Thanks for the Cudo's but the Mods are open to the input of all the members. There are a group that keeps us informed of such things. With out their help we would never have time to read all the posts. The classifieds would be a Zoo.
There are rules in place and for good reasons. Fenway expects his forum to run as he see's fit. There are those who do not wish to follow the simple forum rules as they are written. With the help of the membership we can keep a lid on free spirits.

That said.....it is the business of the members. They have to follow these rules. Fair is....well.....fair......
