No offense here. I'm not sure this is the right venue, but it's not a bad thing for people to see the costs. It isn't all parades, bunting, and dress right dress formations of square jawed men. There's an ugly side to it.

I don't think some here could understand that.
I should have not posted that most do not want to see that level of pain.
I have another picture I took when a good friend of mine was hit I took it as a joke.
He is 100% disabled and medically retired we still laugh about it I would never show it in public.
Basically his nose was gone lucky for him it was just peeled off they put back on!

It's more about the forum rules and the site having to be "family friendly" and safe to be viewed at work etc.

Just know that there are others of us out there who have also been through it that feel that "a dead insurgent" makes a patriotic photo. Even if you need to abide by "family friendly" rules... it's the thought that counts. Besides, you saved me from being punished for posting one of my dead bad guy shots...

I suppose since we spent most of our adult life in the Army we have a different outlook on life and death.
I believe the pictures of wounded patriots are some of the most inspirational it brings home the real cost.

But this is a "family friendly" site. So we have to remember, "The GENERAL/ADMIRAL is visiting" rules. Not "Enlisted Barracks" rules.

Well, it said yesterday that I was over my limit. No such thing today. Hmm... maybe it was the picture

How do you get a bigger picture, instead of the thumbnail thing?
