    Grew peas, White & yellow corn, okra, green beans, yellow summer squash and butternut squash
    No okra or squash (usually) but I remember Dad planting pumpkins one year and those suckers took over everything. The vines grew up into our big white pines and we literally had pumpkins hanging from the pines. A couple of them on the ground got big enough that it took two grown men to load them into a wheelbarrow to move!
