In keeping with my new eating habits, I'm going to go with my egg McMuffins, but this time I'll make 2 muffins worth of ham, egg and cheese, but only use one muffin. I told Susan I was going to get my bikini bod back. She rolled her eyes.

I'm glad it's drying out, but I guess they won't let us have a graveside service because the ground is too wet, so that will be held inside the mausoleum. Probably for the best since I think there's still a chance of stray showers.

I think I asked you this before, but do you use a pancake mix, like Bisquick for your pancakes, or do you use one of the liquid mixes that are ready to go? I just remember Mom always said it was too hard to make pancakes for just me when I was a kid. Had to make them for everybody to make it worthwhile. I think maybe she was playin' me.

I use pancake mix, the just add water kind. I am on some Mrs. Butterworths right now. Back up box is Krust Eez... that will be my first time trying it.

I do only get the Log Cabin syrup since it is sugar and not corn syrup.

I didn't realize that about the Log Cabin. I usually get Mrs. Butterworth's just because it's thick. It's probably corn syrup though. I'm guessing Mom used Bisquick and had to add eggs or something.

That does sound easy enough. I'm gonna go start my breakfast. Had enough coffee.

Mom was a Bisquick user. She used it for pancakes, waffles, biscuits, dumplings...
I have never bought it because I think for biscuits and dumplings, it is pretty mediocre.
