Yeah, I can understand wanting to look into something like that. But that sucks though you drove all that way.My rifle sale fell thru yesterday, at least temporarily. The buyer thought that there was a piece missing - a "firing pin block" that prevents the firing pin from being struck when the hammer is at half or full cock position. From what I've been able to find though, my rifle is one of the early Sharps clones and they didn't have that feature. The later ones did. Just waiting to hear what he decides. He did say that if he decides to buy it that he would come to me since I drove all the way out to Cloverdale yesterday. I don't blame him for being wary about it, especially since he offered my full asking price, but I think the rifle is fine.
