I know this doesn't belong here, but consider it a "General Election" sort of thing... as it's proximity to election day is notable.

If the Clinton camp had any final bombshell stories against Trump, they would have dropped them by now. I think current polls, barring any huge Russian release against Clinton, are where things will remain until Tuesday.
And here's why people should stop trusting Matt Drudge. This is just ridiculous flailing:
Meh. The structure allows for it.

So, blocking SCOTUS for 4/8 years would be completely unprecedented, yeah? I'm guessing it would also do even further irreparable damage to the obstructing party. I just highly doubt they could or would pull it off.
[h=2]There haven’t always been nine justices on the court.[/h] The U.S. Constitution established the Supreme Court but left it to Congress to decide how many justices should make up the court. The Judiciary Act of 1789 set the number at six: a chief justice and five associate justices. In 1807, Congress increased the number of justices to seven; in 1837, the number was bumped up to nine; and in 1863, it rose to 10. In 1866, Congress passed the Judicial Circuits Act, which shrank the number of justices back down to seven and prevented President Andrew Johnson from appointing anyone new to the court. Three years later, in 1869, Congress raised the number of justices to nine, where it has stood ever since. In 1937, in an effort to create a court more friendly to his New Deal programs, President Franklin Roosevelt attempted to convince Congress to pass legislation that would allow a new justice to be added to the court—for a total of up to 15 members—for every justice over 70 who opted not to retire. Congress didn’t go for FDR’s plan.
Since when has the left reached back across the aisle? They would rather fall on their sword and pass things like Obamacare. There is nothing magic about 9, true, but what goes around comes around. There will be a time when there is a more conservative president and a less conservative Senate. maybe that matters, maybe it doesn't. However I fully plan on hearing more conservative types whine about the obstructionist Senate when that happens because hypocrisy is the norm.
