The rest of the house is fine. A little smoke damage on the ceiling in the hallway and part of the living room but nothing bad. All the walls in the kitchen are black and the ceiling has bubbles on it from where the paint got too hot, but the rest of the house is fine

Yep the stove is fine. The smoke alarms go off when you turn the oven on but I expect it's just burning some crap off. All of the burners on the top work fine. And the spam may or may not be cooked. I suspect it might be
