    Twice I've seen 30 below, once in January of 1977 and again in the 90s. The drop in the 90s the air was completely still all night, it was strange. In 1977 it was clear but windy. Thawing pipes I had to keep switching propane cylinders to keep it burning, small amounts of water had frozen in the outside oil tank choking off the furnace. Got that working, then went to work on getting the cars and tractors running.

    In my line of work extreme temps + or - causes a lot of issues. I have been on a factory roof at stupid - temps trying to get equipment to run. It is no fun. Challanging yes, fun, no ****ing way.

    The "challenging" temperature thing is no fun anymore. Went out to shoot some today, didn't stay long.
