As soon as the sun go down, it starts to cool down. But, the sand can still be warm.

In another life I spent some time in Arizona. A friend was based at the air proving grounds there. 28 miles from the Mexican border. Yuma. I spent some time in Mexico for ****s and giggles plus a few Chiquita's. I was rolling back to Yuma on my Harley and ran out of gas. Fuel line came loose. I was exactly in the middle of somewhere and nowhere. I spent the night trying to stay warm on the bike because the desert comes alive after dark and once the sand cools down a stupid Gringo in a tee shirt can near freeze to freaking death.
