Took my SKS to a family outing, burned up 300 rounds and I only fired one shot.

First time shooting it. Just got it yesterday and cleaned it up last night. After the dinner I collected the empty 2 litre bottles and put a water filled Dr Pepper bottle on a fence post 65-75 yards from the deck.

Used the deck rail as a brace, lined up the sights, pulled the trigger and the Dr Pepper bottle exploded. Everyone there oooohhhed & ahhhhed. One shot, one kill, I quit while I was ahead because it was PURE LUCK.

And then, I let all of the family shoot it before my wife told me that I needed to get to work on the AR build, because the SKS was HER gun.
