    I appreciate the advice. I had no idea what I bought when I got my first (and only, so far) 1911, guy had a gun that looked cool, I had cash in hand and just bought it...pretty sure I overpaid for what it is. Don't want to do the same thing with my first AR

    Pm your Breakroom buddies before you buy and you would have a hard time going wrong. There is a lot of experience around here. I hear that CM has over a hundred years building, buying, and selling 1911's. :laugh:

    Yeah, I heard that too!

    I bought this years back before I found INGO. There was a guy I worked with that built guns with his brother as a hobby and he built the 1911 for his dad who said it was too big for him, guy sold it to me for 'price of parts' ...or so he said.
