I'm stuck at work and the wife thinks someone tried to get in the house. They (2 b/m in blue coveralls carrying a clipboard) knocked for a while (we never answer the door if we're not expecting someone). After a while she heard one tell the other to open the door. They didn't try, but about an hour later, she said she heard a loud thud on the door that was loud enough to make the cats run to the other end of the house.

Get 2 kick sticks and set the doors. They are cheap and they do work.

That's what I told her. I guess the knocking happened about 3 hours ago at this point, and it seems the "thud" was a bird hitting the window by the front door (bird-**** splat and lots of feathers).

I fit up a new Ed Brown barrel in my EDC today and do not have a viable lug cutter. I have been turning down a lot of sight work on 1911's as I did not have a viable sight pusher.

Hehehehe.........at least i'm consistent. Sight pusher may be a money maker, not many want to put out the price for one.
I acquired a new tactical vest of the week-end, they let me rent it for 2370.00 a month. But if you get shot in the heart it brings you back to life, really.
