Doing another drive by. Helped the neighbor a bit in her flower beds this morning before heading home. One of our friends messaged me to see what we were doing for dinner. I told her I wasn't sure but had messaged our other friend and would let her know if we were getting together once I heard back. Also commented that I was planning burgers on the grill if we weren't doing anything else. She replied, "Sounds good, what time?" So...now we are having burgers and brats on the grill and a bonfire at our house. I didn't have the heart to tell her I meant just for hubby and I.

Birthday cherry pie is finally in the oven. I threw some kraut and sausage into the crock pot to go with the burgers/brats and chips. I have to go do some mowing and feed the deer as they seem to be out of apples. I hope I have time to roast some coffee beans too cause I don't have any more to grind at this point...pretty sure the green ones won't make good coffee.

Off I go to do a bunch of stuff before everyone shows up. Hubby isn't back from fishing yet. Last I heard, he was only catching little bitty ones and was throwing them back. Maybe things improved since he isn't home yet.
