Just be careful of what access you get. Some of the homes just off the lake say they have lake access but don't.

I have lake access...if I drive there and walk to the lake

Having your own lake access would be very nice. Of course, it will cost you. If you don't mind hauling a boat to a public access you can save a lot of money. I would love to live on the lake just to have the view.

Lakes are wonderful.....in the warm times. They are brutally cold in the winter.
