    That recipe is definitely a good one. Goes great with bonfires and we like to have those as much as possible. Yesterday, our friends made ham and beans in the cast iron kettle over the open fire for dinner....it was soooo good.

    Hello HR, you like beans? I made a mean batch. mom45 gave me the recipe for butt blowing beans. My brother will so like be in heaven.


    That isn't what we normally call them, but I suppose that could be accurate. Maybe that's why we eat them when we are outside at a bonfire.

    Stirring the bean pot again. Will re-heat tomorrow. The spices will have a chance to meld tonite. Always better warmed up.
