    I actually talked to a State Cop at the LGS when I picked up my Sig. He was THRILLED by the new 227's, said the Glock was an abortion from the beginning as far as he was concerned.

    :lmfao: That was about the same thing my trooper friend said. He said he never felt confidant with the Glock. He does with the Sig.

    He was saying something about a former Superintendent having connections to Glock and it was his decision to force the switch?? Apparently this guy is gone now.

    That's what I heard. The latter was a Glock fanboy. The new one was at the range and saw a trooper shooting and while firing his mag fell out. The new guy wanted something reliable :D FN was in the running but they couldn't do as many guns as were needed in a timely manner. Sig won.
