I made a marvelous discovery today. The bad laptop battery packs that our I.T. department throws away daily are filled with the same type of cells that I pay good money to buy for my e-cigs. Most of the individual cells inside those battery backs are still good. I'm never buying e-cig batteries again!

Yep, put 100 rounds through it this afternoon. So far, I really like it. Forgot to grab an ammo can when I left and that was all the 9mm I had in the car.

Yep, that was included in the case with the gun.
Only had one Mag though, I had to buy the other two.

The only difference is that the ones I buy have a built in protection circuit to keep them from overheating if drained too low. I just have to make sure I change my battery every day so it won't be a problem. Lithium ion batteries can be a bit unstable if pushed beyond their limits. Tesla proved it...

I actually talked to a State Cop at the LGS when I picked up my Sig. He was THRILLED by the new 227's, said the Glock was an abortion from the beginning as far as he was concerned.
