    If your job can be done effectively on a tablet, get an iPad (or *gasp* a reputable Android tablet).
    I've had numerous tablets running things like iOS/Android [iPads, etc] and while they're great for browsing the web, playing games, doing miscellaneous stuff - they're terrible for any sort of real productivity when it comes to what I do for a living.

    If not, try and find the lightest/most portable netbook that will work for your needs.
    None of them have touch screen that I've seen - I already have some light/smaller laptops and I'm looking for something that can both get some serious work done if needed but I can also chill and just browse the web without needing a whole full-fledged laptop.

    I'm not expecting it to beat out an iPad for convenience or a full laptop for power/functionality but to be a nice mix of both.
