    Striking lines and brutal performance. Put the Germans on the truck to go home.

    To me, a shined up P-51 at full military power is a thing to behold. The spitfire could do some maneuvering outside the 51's ability but it could not run with it or as far. Both were master pieces of mechanical art.

    I personally feel the corsair was the most under-rated fighter of its time. Fast as hell, very maneuverable, and capable of taking a hell of a beating. Great bird, that one.

    Gull winged to get clearance for that huge prop. Pratt&Whitney super charged air cooled radial engine and wings full of .50 cal.
