IPS is a political pawn of the teachers union. Terrible.
My grand daughters clas is half Hispanic and half of them speak absolutely no English nor do the parents. It is a complete joke.

no makeup days for the snow days missed because they already schedule more than the required 180 days. I didn't know that, but it's a good thing

exactly. that was one thing I noted when I dropped the boy off yesterday for his first day. The school is about 85% white children.

I would have said English speaking but I don't know if the Hispanics there are fluent or not

start stocking away lots of money for a private school or move out of Indy. It's a lot easier to say you won't than it is to actually do it

My kids went to private school and yes, dam expensive. The kids were of all races and for the most part until my sons senior year it was pretty peaceful. A few trouble makers came in around that time and both son and daughter got in a few scuffles. They weeded out the bad apples eventually.
