Our area has had some power issues but we are good. No power but have all the comforts.

So far so good, watching TV and playing on INGO.

Two hours ago.

More than a foot, less than two feet, I'm guessing between 16 to 18 inches.

It's wasn't snowing flakes, it's was snowing chunks.



My Accuweather app says that it has stopped snowing - they are wrong.

No they woke up right as the snow started falling so they decided to stay home. Been a pretty lazy day for us all


power flickered but never lost it. Generator and kerosene heater are inside and warm if we do need to fire them up.

They talked about the snow storm in the US and had a crew in DC and another one in Indianapolis to interview people.

I'm not sure I have ever seen I-94 officially shut down before...shut down from Illinois to Michigan City and I-65 shut down from 12/20 at Gary all the way to Lafayette in both directions. I guess the weathermen hit it this time.

80/94 is shut down between ILL state line and Mich City.... Lake Co has a county wide ban on driving for non emergencies as well as most of the counties in NW Indiana...
