my furnace is running and running and running.
brought the kerosene heater in last night and the generator. keeping it warm so it will start in case we need it.

WE keep the gennys in the heated shop so they are ready. I might cycle them today just because.

I learned in defensive driving school to make sure and keep the appropriate distance between you and the car in front. If the car behind is not giving the appropriate space, give that much more between you and the car in front. On snowy/wet roads you need more distance.

blew me away that I was relearning all these things I already knew just for a couple of speeding tickets. which I haven't had any in 11 years now, since I took the defensive driving class.

I'm debating on if I should sell off some guns! I was going thru 'em last nite. I have way to many of the same guns. It's like selling off your kids!

I was out with my G-daughter a bit last night but just a bit. To darn cold. Snow will not pack so it saved my butt.

When it's to cold to make a snowman, you know it's cold!!!

I went through this when I retired. I thought there would be time for the woods and the range. I got no time for much of that. Sold off over half the guns over the last 6 months and bought a few different ones. Sometimes change is good.

I don't have many guns, 4 to be exact. Hubby on the other hand has safes full.

At a point the numbers become redundant unless it is a passion. I looked my situation over and decided to thin the herd. Now I try to trade for different pieces and fiddle with them. I like to fiddle, if I had the time.

I need to roll out as well. I need to start saying no when I get these no heat calls. I do not have a stocked service truck anymore (retired...) and it sucks running all over the city looking for parts especially in this weather.
I just can not say no.
