    This sound more like a concert than church. :dunno: Where's the hymns, readings, creeds, and the sermon at?

    worship song, welcome/hug & howdy, two more worship songs, 35+ minutes of sermon, what we call invitation which is the public time for people to come forward and get baptized or talk to a councilor for a need or support they may need, communion, announcements baptisms lunch

    hymns are sung during worship, we don't sing "traditional" very often.

    Bible is what it is all about and practical application there of.

    Creeds we are not catholic.

    Being such a large church we encourage everyone to join a "life group" which is a small group of people the you share life with meet regularly, study together, help each other, help the community, and hold each other accountable.

    Rayne;

    Plasms 150 says:

    Psalm 150

    1 Praise the LORD.[a] Praise God in his sanctuary;
    praise him in his mighty heavens.
    2 Praise him for his acts of power;
    praise him for his surpassing greatness.
    3 Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet,
    praise him with the harp and lyre,
    4 praise him with timbrel and dancing,
    praise him with the strings and pipe,
    5 praise him with the clash of cymbals,
    praise him with resounding cymbals.
    6 Let everything that has breath praise the LORD.
    Praise the LORD.

    guitars and pianos have strings, drum kits have cymbals. Where in the bible does it say praise him with songs written by old guys from book called the hymnal?

    I either threw my back out or I have kidney stones. I was grabbing coffee this morning and I was climbing into the Jeep and I almost dropped my drink because I was in so much pain. I leaned against the Jeep for like five minutes. I climbed in somehow, drove myself to work and it took me about five minutes to get out and walk to the door.

    What's your church's stance on weed? Pies?

    the church does not have an official stance on weed. We say that the bible says to follow the laws of man. And, that you should ask of yourself "what is right for me at this moment based on my past." So the decision is up to you.

    Pies!!!! we LOVE pies and all other forms of baked goods. an old saying around the church is there is no meeting without eating.:D
