Actually they really enjoyed the trip. The kids even put a padlock on the bridge in Paris. You may be aware of it... Some bridge that couple put padlocks on with their initials engraved on em. ???
Seemed strange to me!

Yes it's Le pont des arts.

It's not strange, it's to show that their love is strong and long lasting like those padlock, but they remove hundreds of those each year and throw them away once the tourists are gone.
They actually remove big parts of the bridge instead of cutting each padlock one by one.

People call them Cadenas d'Amour (Love Padlocks).

People love to put them but the city hate to to remove them.

It's actually hard to find old ones because of that.

Never thought about it. She is a sweet young lady though, and someone I'm proud to call a daughter. The boy did well!
They were high school sweethearts & have been together for near 7 years. They got married in April this year.
