Oh no...that sort of thing gives me goose bumps. My biggest fear is something awful happening to my children and I can't save them. Poor babies.

Me too. I have a couple of good friends that are firemen. One was on the rescue unit as a paramedic. He called me late one night crying. There was a child, a fire, carried out by brave men unconcious. He worked so hard but could not save her. It really tore him up. He went back on the engine.

Love it. When I get the nail trimmers out, the Chihuahua will run to a corner and hide.

My dog gives me his paws and just sits there

Not sure about the other dog we have. I need to trim them but I haven't ever really tried so not sure how he will react.

I get the muzzle out first, then hubby joins me and sits on her then I trim the nails.

She really hates for you to mess with her nails

It's one thing when you can't save an adult. It's still terrible of course but not as bad as a child. I couldn't even imagine going through that
