working my tail off today and the boss walks out of his office and tells me my son is on the phone. Seems he is still having a rough time with the walking pneumonia. Took off and got him back home, took me 14 minutes to pick him up and take him home and get back to work.

Wife & I were in a car accident 2 1/2 years ago. Our super sucky insurance company didn't pay our medical bills. Had to file a suit against them and the driver that hit us.
Now, after 2 1/2 years, a settlement has been reached, all of those bills will be paid off in the next couple of weeks.
I have been making small payments on everything to keep myself from being sued, it's going to be rally nice to have that go away.

Congrats Sam!!! It really is a great feeling when it's finally resolved!

pretty bad fire in Nineva... one person airlifted to Indy with severe burns. 2 children believed to be trapped inside. If they are, God rest their souls. no way they could make it out of this alive.

Sam, that has to be a load off. Insurance sucks. It is a business (until Obummer takes it over and really screws it up) and they run it as such but hey, If you got hurt they are supposed to pay.

Even a little is better than nothing. I've been down that road in the past. Fortunately mine only took a couple of months. I got t-boned by a Saturn employee, driving one of Saturn's cars, on Saturn's time clock. They REALLY wanted to settle that one quick

Oh no...that sort of thing gives me goose bumps. My biggest fear is something awful happening to my children and I can't save them. Poor babies.

Also, if any of you ever need a Lawyer in the Dayton/Hamilton/Cincinnati Ohio area, I found a GREAT one. I would recommend him to anyone, he really went above and beyond and took a cut in his share to get everything settled. Don't think he made much at all.

I have a dog who refuses to let us easily trim her nails. She is sitting on the sofa, chewing her nails shorter... weird.
