Well, the yard is in much better shape than it was after the Halloween storm. There's about a 3" branch laying across my next door neighbor's power line going to their house. I'll get up and take care of that tomorrow if they haven't done so already. Looks pretty rotten, so it's not putting much of a strain on the line.

Well, we went to the basement twice, second time when tv station reported a tornado on the ground 3 miles south of Batesville. I don't think we had muchdamage, but the power has been out since 6.

On the bright side, we had dinner cooking in the crock pot. We was able to have a candle light dinners.

I just found out that the sailboat we were chartering for a week of diving in the Bahamas this spring has wrecked.

I'm not pleased, but the company has two more boats. I'm sure they will take care of us. I'm also quite happy that I'm finished working during opening firearms weekend. It has been crazy. I check in A LOT of mangled deer this weekend.

As in deer with horrific wounds. The biggest buck of the day arrived in a vintage Mitsubishi SUV the size of a GEO Tracker. To fit the deer in the SUV, all of its legs were cut off. Another guy cut the head off of a buck and tried to claim it as a doe.
