    sliced it open at work. Bled for over an hour after I cut it. steri-strips because of the way it cut instead of stitches.

    yeah no kidding. I want to just put a bandaid on it and sleep that way tonight

    When I had a bad cut, Dr, Quinn would pierce a vitamin "E" capsule, put a little bit on the cut and bandage it lightly for the nite. Don't know if this will work for you though, if it's really a deep cut.

    She also taped the hurting finger to the other non-hurting finger for the sleeping hours. One doesn't really know what they do in their sleep.
