Yeah what's with that? I was driving down Keystone today and noticed that the sign at the northbound 65 junction has a big orange sign that says "Downtown Only"

They're lowering the road bed beneath a bridge to increase the clearance for trucks. Apparently whatever outfit did that big "hyper fix" project didn't make the bridge high enough.

Ummm....ok. I see trucks go through there all the time. They want it to look like the overpasses over on the east side of 465 by Shadeland or something?

I hate those things, for the record. I always feel like I'm driving under a roller coaster or something

Well, they're not going to make the bridge taller, just lowering the road underneath. I know what you mean about those ones on the east side though! I just have a feeling that with all the traffic being rerouted to 465 around the south side, it's going to be a mess. It's bad enough at the Emerson and 65 interchanges on a good day!

I see that guy in Ohio that held those girls hostage for 10 years killed himself in his jail cell last night.

Well, they're not going to make the bridge taller, just lowering the road underneath. I know what you mean about those ones on the east side though! I just have a feeling that with all the traffic being rerouted to 465 around the south side, it's going to be a mess. It's bad enough at the Emerson and 65 interchanges on a good day!

I know. On the rare occasions that I journey over there I don't ever take the interstate. I live just off of Troy so I just take that to Emerson and go down that way. Forget the interstate over there. It's a mess.

I get to go to my first Colts game at Lucas Oil Sunday! My sister called last night and my brother-in-law got 4 tickets from his work and can't use them. 10th row in a corner I guess.
