    Just glad to have made it home. Figured out that the reason my (ok well my other half's) car reeks of gas is that there's a pin sized hole in one of the fuel lines and it's spraying out :ugh:

    It's near the rear of the engine bay so it's venting out the hood and I'm not super worried about a fire, but I AM losing fuel.

    That puts my lawnmower fuel filter replacement to shame :)

    Yeah I think we're gonna take it to the shop around the corner in the morning. If I can somehow just make it to work and back tomorrow I have Thursday and Friday off. We'll deal with it somehow. If all else fails I can air up the tire on my little beater and hope it holds enough air for a day :):

    I've no idea what sort of pressure fuel lines are under (and I probably should know this). Maye you can patch it temporarily?
