well I had to resign my position in Scouts tonight. Pulled the boy out too. Hubby is dead set he won't let him be in anymore with the decision that was made.

I wonder how much more back lash they will get because of their decission? They will be loosing a lot of good people but I believe in standing up for what you believe in too.

I agree with him Rayne, I am not happy about it though. The boy had 1 more year and he was so close to his Arrow Of Light, he's worked hard to get there.

I think it is going to go very deep, very far. Churches have already said they will not sponsor anymore, some that is. Our Pack is church sponsored and I haven't heard one way or the other from them

I understand about the boy. There are a lot of boys who are going to lose over this situation.

You always talked so fondly of your troop, even if they wore you out. Maybe if other boys drop out too you and start your own little group. It won't be boyscouts, but maybe they could still learn the same principles.

the former Cub Master wants to pull out also, because of his ties yet, he won't. Had a long talk with him this evening and we still plan on doing things together. Even some of the families that aren't leaving we'll do things with. Friends outside of Scouts too. It's nice

My Daddy wants to give me a AAA membership and I went to get it online tonight. It is $50 more in indiana for the same coverage that he has in Louisville.
