    did an emergency run to the vet this morning. Zoe was running a fever, one of her many milk engorged breasts was rock hard and she has been sleeping and drinking way to much

    Better now after we got meds into her, but I have to get the puppies weaned

    Is Zoe going to be alright?
    I am sure she is going to be, but I have to watch her real close for a few things and if I see them it is a real emergency run. Doc Lesh led me to believe it shouldn't happen though. Have to put warm compresses on her and massage her boob several times a day... any volunteers?

    Getting the puppies weaned though will make it easier for her.
