Most appleseeds are setup at 25 and are mostly rimfire anyway. They can specify it as rimfire only.
And, he could generate more memberships from it. It would be good advertising for him even if he only did it once a year.
yeah he doesn't think like that. He keeps the range books and class books separate till tax time. then realizes he made too much money and has to buy a new truck to burn cash to reduce tax liability.
It's not a class, he wouldn't be teaching anything. He allows appleseed to use the range for a weekend. And because people would probably be somewhat close to it would finally get exposed to it, they might sign up for a membership and/or classes

also we have a season passes but we are 90% day or hourly passes for range time.
