our only problem was that we did not conduct searches and have records of them. Because of the type of work we do we are required to "randomly" search people to check they are not bringing in anything they shouldn't or taking anything with them they shouldn't.

But to his credit. When I asked how often random is he said if we want he can call us on the days he would like us to search visitors. and if no-one visits that day then we don't have to search anyone.

He did approve of our visitor log.
