Hey V8, how long would it take you to load 200 shells with your progressive press?

Well.... it depends. If I was loading handgun ammo or rifle ammo and was NOT concerned with precision, I could probably load that much in a half hour or so.

But when I load for my rifle I weigh every powder charge and use it more like a single stage. I still load about 60 an hour though.

I had an ad out for over a week asking to buy .223 brass and trade/or trade .22LR for it. I got no responses.

Soooooo, today I sell the .22 and buy some brass off of Gunbroker. Tonight I get three people contacting me about a trade.:xmad: Brass for .22.

Wish they had contacted me Friday.

Well if that's priming it too, then I got my work cut out. I need over 200 loaded by Saturday and we have a single stage press.

Oh well, nothing else to do.

But it will be fun fun shooting them next weekend. :D

I usually like to take my time though so nothing gets missed. With a single stage press you can just do one thing at a time. I would resize and prime them all before adding powder and seating a bullet.

I'm sure you'll get there. If you do it for 20 - 30 minutes a night you'll have em done by the weekend for sure.
