    I would like to find a TSA friendly way to cut zip ties.It looks like nail clippers are actually not a prohibited item but I cant find anything about that.

    There are some plastic materials that can get pretty sharp. Just sharpen your tooth brush or hair brush or something.

    It's not about having a spare.It's about not wanted to be arrested because I carried a sharpened tooth brush. :dunno:

    I just need to find out if nail clippers are good to go.I think they were not allowed for a while but that it's allowed again now.Just not 100% sure.

    you don't need anything sharp to get out of them. A mechanical pencil with a sturdy body and a metal tip would probably do the trick :dunno:
