i thought it was all big companies could either keep paying like they are or stop and pay a fine .
List of Obamacare Exempt CompaniesI'd like to see your sources on that one.
you guessed correctly.he must be looking it up
I don't know about your company but a lot of companies, I know of Mcdonalds, Microsoft, and the big three auto manufactures, are exempt from that part of the law. At least that was the big to do when they were debating the law.
You are correct Microsoft is not on the list. I was going from memory.I don't see Microsoft, General Motors, Ford, or Chrysler on the list.

The big three don't get the "waiver" directly the union does. and they get a waiver because the union provides a "suitable alternative" to the healthcare act. Union employees don't get benefits from the company they get them from the union and the unions are the ones that are exempt. Well the healthcare/benefits portion of the union is exempt. I don't understand all the detail and am not trying too.
My point is still the same there is a large list of companies/unions that are exempt from the law.And McDonalds isn't on the list either, only mentioned in some of the comments at the bottom.
At least you're not spreading rumors

would it make you feel better if I wrote them all an apology letter? You called out specific companies that weren't on the list trying to make them look bad. Words have meaning.
aren't they funI love long, drawn out, pointless conference calls.
