I do it because I feel as the bread winner, he deserves the respect to be asked certain things and to be able to make the decisions together. Now I am talking like major purchases, home repairs etc. Not what we are eating for supper or if the boy can spend the night at a friends/

I hope that makes sense without making me look like a submissive, I am far from that

I understand MrsG , i was just saying there are time i dont want to be asked a bunch of question ,especially if im at work - to me i would think most people would have this already figured out and agreed on ,like (we as a couple) have decided if its x degrees out side turn the furnace on ,so on and so forth . it just blows my mind to see some (mostly men ) get their nonads in such a knot if they other person dont ask permission all the time .

the one was getting a biopsy done, she came back positive for lymph node cancer,

the other lady has stage IIIA breast cancer..
