    I didnt have any relatives that served in WWII. My grandpa served in WWI and I had uncles serve in Korea and Veitnam and a brother who served in the first Desert Storm.

    Dad and 4 brothers joined up for ww2, then 2 more were in Korea.

    other than my Uncles, we are not a military family. They all served WWII, one in the Army, one in the Air Force and one in Coast Guard.
    Hubby was Desert Storm vet w/ Marine Corp. Lost is hearing there. Heavy artillery and they packed them up so fast to move out someone forgot ear protection

    We seemed to join up if a war was going. My direct line was in 1812, civil war and ww2.
