Yes sir I did. I wrapped it in gauze and put allot of pressure on it. Stopped a good amount of bleeding before the camp medics arrived.

I've needed a new belt for a while now. I hate the way most of them are made of laminated layers of cheap leather instead of just one thick piece of quality leather.
