So I have $195 that is just sitting in my account that I can't invest since the amounts increase in increments of 500. I want something for my ar15 that cost like $130. Advice? :dunno:

The rails for the MOE are made of plastic. I want a stable mounting platform for the light I am going to mount.
SureFire G2X Pro and LT707-1 In-Line QD Mount with 1.040 Rings | LaRue Tactical . also I don't want to remove my delta ring to put a freefloat rail on.

It's just a light, not exactly heavy. And The way the rail mounts and the the rest of the 2 piece rails do, it won't get any more stable unless you get a free float. So you're literally throwing money away just to have an unstable rail that is metal instead of plastic.

Well there is also this Troy rail that says its freefloat. And it doesn't require any modification to the host weapon

Bit higher than I would want to go, but if its truly free float
