Is there a new thread somewhere explaining what happened and what was fixed?

I'm sure a lot of people would like some closure so they don't spend unnecessary monies on spyware/malware removal. I know there were a lot of ansy people on those threads yesterday that were genuinely concerned.

I saw nothing. the speculation was allowed to run a muck and then they pull it all with no explanation.
