Mine has a green bag and a white bag. Now the green bag says it produces heat but I have no idea how.

They come in a huge box compared to a US ones but they have more calories in them and are good for one day.
They come with a little stove, two meals, chocolate and cookies, beverages and more.

chemical reaction. similar as with the hot-hands packets. then you put one back in the other, and it heats its up.

Gotcha. What would happen if you just ate it raw? It would probably taste like crap but would it still provide nutritional value?

I know that for the French ones you can either eat them cold or use the stove to cook them.They taste better hot of course but some units forbids you to cook them (special ops and such) because the enemy can spot you with the delicious smell of the French dishes.

They come with nougat, chocolate and caramel candy.
All good brands stuff, not even cheap stuff.

Thats weird. I bought mine just as individual components. Not a big box. Like I have some beef stroganoff, crackers, peanut butter, jam, coffee, energy drink,tootsie roll ect
